Corner view Vienna: Typical architecture

This week's corner view theme is typical architecture. Above, you see some examples of architecture from Vienna's art nouveau period. The great Austrian architect from that period was Otto Wagner and he designed the Wiener Stadtbahn, Kirsche am Steinhof, Karlsplatz Stadtbahn Station and Majolica House, a.o.

If you want to see more typical architecture from around the world, jump over to Jane at Spain Daily.

Market days in Vienna

Saturday is a busy day on Vienna's markets. The first two photos are from Naschmarkt, the next two from Kutschkermarkt close to where I live, and the last two from Yppenplatz.

Happy Friday

Hand carried from Copenhagen to Vienna last Sunday. This is a cream puff from Summerbird produced on 8 March 2010 and I had no problem consuming it before today 19 March 2010 :)

Have a great weekend.

Corner View: Coffee companion

My coffee companions in the mornings are usually the notebook and a bottle of water. I usually drink water from a bottle, this one is 0.75 L, to keep check on how much liquid I get as I am not very good at remembering to drink water.

If you want to see more coffee companions around the world, jump over to Jane at Spain Daily.
