It has been a great weekend with very little time in front of the pc. This thistle is from the shore of the
Rio Chillar where we spent the day yesterday. I will post more photos from this place later this week.
If you also like yellow, check out other mellow yellow Monday shots
here.
I have seen white and purple but this is the first yellow thistle I've seen.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen a yellow thistle either.
ReplyDeleteSome nasty thorns on it!
It looks like the yarn hair for a raggedy ann doll -- only a blonde!
ReplyDeletelooks like some kind of yellow creature overtaking the flower/plant, guess it has not been attended to by the looks of the cobweb, makes a pretty sad thistle
ReplyDeleteoh we dont have plant like that here..nice shot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photograph. You always find interesting things to take photos of. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this shot! Love the web attached to it too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! Love the "raggedy ann hair" look, but also love the fragile spider webs on the leaves!
