Boxes

I don't know how many tricks I can find, but this week's corner view theme box of tricks was a nice occasion to get these out of my drawer ... and sometimes you may find small treasures you had almost forgotten about :)

More boxes of tricks here.

Mozart

is buried at St. Marx Friedhof in Vienna's 3rd district. It closed as cementary in 1874, but is now open to the public as a park. I went there the other day.

To start your weekend you may want to listen to this piece by Mozart :)

My walls ...

at home are completely white and we have nothing on them yet. Anyhow, I'm not at home today, I'm in Vienna.

The top photo is from last night as I knew the corner view theme this week is walls and the bottom photo is from June last year. Both of them from along the Danube canal.

More corner views here.

The thorny tree

Some months ago I showed you pictures of wood. Here are some fresh ones of the thorny kind. Actually, I would have liked to take some photos of the three when it is in bloom, but I missed it this year. These days this one in the centre of Málaga is beautifully green. There is a small sign under the tree with is name and origin. It's a Drunken Tree (Ceiba Insignis).

Oh, and something else. For those of you using Blogger for you blog, you can now choose a mobile template. I think it is so much easier to view/read on a smartphone. Below is a screenshot of my blog as I see it on my smartphone :)

Have great weekend!

Destination

The words on the last photo: Vete a donde tus pies y el viente te lleven ... is on a wall in Málaga's Agua Dulce area.
Go, wherever your feet and the winds take you,
and it contines like this
while Venus, and Night, both favour you: luck be
with you: and carve an epitaph on my tomb,
in fond memory.
from Horace's The Odes. I have posted some other pieces of wall poetry before here and here :)

This week´s theme for Corner View is Destination. More of this at FuoriBorgo.
