Corner view Málaga: Music

No photos in this post, but a video with Paco de Lucia that I would like to share with you.

I saw/heard him about 2 years ago during a Flamenco festival in Málaga. He gave a concert in the Malagueta bullfighting ring - a very beatiful and evocative event under the full moon - as I remember it :-)

By the way, I think it is so much better to use those rings for concerts than killing bulls!

Find links to more music corner views on Spain Daily. Next wednesday the theme will be STAPLE FOOD.

  2. Yeah, I think it could be very heated. I have a feeling bullfighting is a very pro or contra subject - a bit like smokers versus non-smokers :-)

A few years ago we went to a Rumba Flamenca concert. There were 10 guitar players. It was fantastic.

  10. I so totally enjoyed this! My son, who was born in Marbella, was sitting next to me and got very quiet when the music started to play. We laughed and said it must be because it is the music of the motherland!
