For this week's theme Jane of Spain Daily asked a few questions:
How do you say "two coffees with milk"? Dos cafés con leche, por favor
What are the most popular ways to drink coffee? Café con leche, Cortado (coffee with a little milk) and Solo (espresso) and in summertime Solo con hielo (espresso served in its cup along with a tall glass with 1-3 large icecubes - you add the sugar you want, stir and then pour it over the icecubes. My husband loves it!)
French press, percolator, espresso, or other? Well, in the mornings it's french press - it is the fastest way:-)
Later in the day and if at home its Nespresso - right now this one is the favorite with milk in.
How do you take your coffee? Café con leche without sugar
Are you a dunker? No, I may get crumbs in the coffee, urgh :-)
Dunker = to dip (bread or other food) into a drink before eating it
What was the funniest topic of conversation over a recent cup of coffee? Oh, right now I cannot think of one, sorry ...

ReplyDeleteHave a great day,
Kasia
That cup of coffee looks really nice.
ReplyDeleteLike your pictures.
The second picture with the pc on the background is great! And that solo con hielo sounds divine, must try that one.
ReplyDeleteque rico, que ganas de un cafecito después de mi cena!
ReplyDeleteWhen having coffee outside of my home in Spain it's always Cafe Nube (in Andaluz) or Cafe Manchado (outside the Malaga area). We either use a paper filter (no machine, manual) or my espresso maker at home. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the cup and color of coffee is pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!ox
Murasaki: Oh, the cafe nube is nice too, its like a small version of a latte ... I actually like the coffe like that, but I have not yet been in a cafe here where they had skim milk which I prefer - it doesn't taste so much of milk :-)
