I have discovered lavenders, thyme, almond and olive trees on the land of our new home and a lot of wild spring flowers I don't know the names of ... yet. With time I hope to learn a lot more about all this.

ReplyDeleteI've always lived with seasons, dreading winter and longing for sumner. That's why I love olive trees. Evergreen, and almost timeless.
ReplyDeleteMy comment on another blog was that IU have a circular conception of time. Because of the seasons, time has something permanent, well-known. That's why I don't like to think life along a line of time.

ReplyDeleteone of the reasons we moved in the country(side) was to be able to notice the change of the season a little more. and it is so very true in march when everything goes green, and in october where we can smell the first logfires in the area !
