Monday was Valentine's Day

in many corners of the world. I think it was introduced in Denmark with some success in the early nineties by the flower and jewellery shops.

My man gives me flowers and sometimes also jewellery, but NOT on Valentine's Day :)

More corner views here.

  2. I think it was first a big happening in usa and than it flew over to Europe! It is always nice to get flowers! Especially NOT on valentine's day!

  3. i am glad to hear so far (based on this corner view) that most of Europe is resisting the tacky scourge of U.S. style valentine's celebrating!

also glad that you are receiving flowers and jewelry on a regular basis! all is right in the world! if i could only get my husband to upgrade from fancy venetian spackles and burrito dinners?

(i know, i know, you will be asking: "wha-a-a-a-?")
