Morning walk

This is not the park where I run :)

The heat is back in Vienna and the other morning I felt like a morning (photo) walk in the Botanical Garden before the heat got too intolerable. However, it only opens at 10 am so instead I had a walk through the beautiful garden of the Belvedere castle.

This is a shot (that came out rather funny, I think) of the "A celebration of Leonard Bernstein" concert we heard and saw some of at the Wien Film Festival in the weekend.

Weekend evenings

The weekend has been very, very lazy. It is so hot these days that you only feel like going out after dark ...

These photos are taken after sunset around Volksgarten and Rathaus Platz, Vienna, where you could watch wold cup football or the night's programme at  the Wien Film Festival.

Friday ...

and almost weekend. The weather forecast promises hot and sunny days in Vienna. So far we have no specific plans ... which is nice.

Jazz on a Saturday

I spent 6 of last Saturday's 24 hours at Jazz Fest Wien Open Air concert.


The entrance fee was only € 1 each and there were 3 bands playing before the concert with ...


Al Jarreau, the reason why I came to the concert. 

Apart from the sore feet, it was a nice way to spend a hot summer afternoon/ evening in Vienna :)
